Smooth, harmonious and efficient running of the Kitchen: Quality of meals produced and served: Consumer satisfaction: Cleanliness of the kitchen and environment: Demonstrated by personal example, safe working procedures in relation to hygiene, safety and catering practice generally.


  • To take minutes for all catering meetings as required. HACCP meetings, Catering improvement meetings.
  • To type up catering monthly audit notes.
  • Arrange hospitality for internal and external functions
  • Type up all hospitality function requests and maintain the form ensuring all catering teams are notified of changes
  • Assist in the development and implementation of new menus such as themed days, Xmas and special events.
  • Update the Hospitality brochure as required
  • Update Herriotts and café Bistro price list
  • Update and maintain all ordering sheets
  • Maintain food costings in catering system.
  • Assign Margins to costs to ensure selling price is profitable
  • Ensure accurate information is displayed on all point of Sale boards
  • Arrange meetings and book rooms as needed
  • Type all letters, memos, minutes, reports and file notes for the catering department
  • Update and maintain training records both online and and paper training.
  • Collate and feedback on patient surveys
  • Process taxi requests for therapy services
  • Collection of information from various departments for month end costing
  • Cost and assign margin prior to recharging wards and departments
  • Provide admin cover as required in catering
  • Work through Oracle Cloud raising purchase Orders Receiving and Receipting goods
