The opportunity


As our HR Coordinator you will support the Central HR team by providing professional and proactive coordination and support to enable the implementation of the business' people plan to improve business area or function performance.

You will have an excellent opportunity to work across the HR spectrum by supporting several HR departments covering areas such as business operations, support functions, the talent team, and major programmes, as a result there will be multi-stakeholder relationships to manage.


This role is based at our Gloucester Business Park office, with a minimum of 2 days in the officer per week.

We're offering a competitive salary from £28,000, a bonus and pension package for this opportunity with our terms and conditions covered by the EDF Personal Contract.

The starting salary for the appointment will be dependent on your existing salary, competence, experiences, and qualification.

What you'll be doing

Within this role, you will:
HR Coordination

  • Support with the smooth running of the Nuclear Decommissioning HR team which will include coordination of meeting schedules with multistakeholders, developing meeting packs and tracking programme activities/performance.
  • Update project plans and support the identification of appropriate actions and risks to the HRBP Project Manager.
  • Support the delivery of identified people programme activities as required.
  • Coordinate training compliance across HR ensuring HR Post & Training Profiles are updated as required and training completion prompted across the HR function liaising with the Fleet HR Manager for operations sites.
  • Coordinate multiHR team activities and requests including diary management and travel arrangements.
  • Support in the production of reports and information carrying out ad hoc data analysis more widely across the HR teams as required.
  • Ensure HR Policies and Procedures are updated liaising with the Document Centre and Employee Relations on behalf of the Fleet HR Manager as required to ensure reviews are completed on time.
  • Support the random Drug & Alcohol testing procedure on behalf of HR for Gloucester Business Park and 6 Atlantic Quay liaising with Occupational Health.
  • Act as the single point of contact for HRBP's and the central coordination team for the annual Employee Engagement Survey and Nuclear Safety Culture Survey to ensure accurate reporting across the central support functions.
  • Support the annual agency renewals process for the Central HR team by tracking renewals and processing as required.
  • Provide support to the HRBP's in the delivery of the biannual People Talent Review (PTR) process.
  • Support the monitoring of departmental budgets and the purchase and requisition of goods and services in HR, including but not limited to raising requisitions, tracking orders, making card payments, and maintaining budget spreadsheets, and coordinating excess travel payments with Employee Services
  • Carry out troubleshooting on data issues, as required.
Other

  • Provide coordination support for a variety of projects, survey roll outs, events and local training/awareness sessions' both corporate and fleet wide, as appropriate.
  • Fulfil the HR CAP evaluator role on and administer AMS on behalf of the central HR Team working with the Fleet HR Manager with regards to any queries
  • Manage the Management of Change register on behalf of the CSF HR team.

Who you are


You will be highly discreet with confidential information and demonstrates professionalism and respect for confidentiality with excellent attention to detail and accurate presentation of written information.

You'll be someone who possesses excellent organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise workload.

You can build and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation. While a qualification in HR would be an advantage, it is not essential. This role is suitable for an individual with a desire for a long-term career within the HR field.
