The Company
Production Team Leader - £30,000 - £35,000 - Day Shift

Our client is a successful and expanding manufacturing business looking to appoint an additional experienced Production Team Leader into their team to support ongoing drive for process improvement.

The Role
The Production Team Leader will be responsible for

Day to day management of the manufacturing and assembly operations across site to meet business and customer requirements
Ensure that internal manufactured materials are supplied in line with production schedules and quality requirements.
Evaluation of operational performance through the analysis of KPIs with associated action plans and countermeasures
Achievement of production targets within agreed budget and to agreed standards
Champion Lean activities and visual management across site
Promote the continuous improvement process to lead the plant towards operational excellence
Develop and promote close working relationships with other areas of the business
Promote a culture of continuous improvement in all staff for whom responsible

Person Specification
The successful Production Team Leader will

Completed a recognised apprenticeship or qualified by an appropriate level of experience
Experience of people leadership/ management within a manufacturing environment
Continuous improvement mindset, having demonstrated clear improvements within previous roles
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, liaising with all stakeholders on site
