About this Role
We seek to appoint a Cover Supervisor to join George
Pindar School. This post is permanent, working 37 hours per week, on a term
time only basis.

Pindar School is an 11-16 secondary situated in Scarborough. We are a community

This role will provide short term
cover for absent teaching staff, allocating pre-prepared work, keeping pupils
on task and managing the behaviour of pupils during class. The role does not involve planning,
preparing, delivering lessons or assessing and reporting on the development
progress and attainment of pupils. This role is ideal for those contemplating a
career in teaching, gaining first hand classroom experience across a breadth of
