Postgraduate Dissertation Supervisors in Computing, AI & Data Science:

Solent University's Department of Science and Engineering has experienced significant growth in its Postgraduate offerings, particularly in the area of Applied AI and Data Science.

Our PG conversion course in Applied AI and Data Science is highly sought-after and is one of the most popular courses at the university.

To support our growing number of PG students and our overall strategic development, we are investing in academic posts within the department.

We are looking for experienced and passionate individuals to join our team as PG Dissertation Supervisors in AI and Data Science.

In this role, you will be responsible for supervising dissertations and guiding PG students through the research and writing process for their dissertations in the field of AI and data science.

Supervision would take place in the summer and autumn semesters and entails 1-2-1 weekly supervision meetings over a 12 weeks semester followed by 2 weeks of assessment and marking.

Supervising meetings can take place remotely on Teams if you cannot be on campus. Since this is a conversion course, students may need support in the practical implementation of the artefact as well.

You will be joining us at a very exciting time in our growth and development and would become part of a dedicated team offering support and guidance to our students.
