About me
I'm 75-year-old diagnosed with Alzheimer's. I live at home with my wife who is my main carer.

I am fully dependent on others for all my needs as I am unable to recognise these myself or communicate these.

Team of agency carers comes to support me 4 times a day.

It is important to me to remain in my own home in familiar surroundings and for my wife to be supported to continue looking after me.

Previously, I used to enjoy many activities such as gardening and home cinema and was very sociable. My family are very important to me.

I'm looking for
I would like to have few PAs to stay with me and to allow my wife some respite.

I would like her to be able to go out in the evenings, enjoy day trips and have few overnight stays through the year.

I would like to be supported by people who are flexible, committed, respectful and have a caring nature.

As my needs are met by the carers, you would provide me with companionship and making sure I'm comfortable and safe.

Hours of work and pay

You would be required to support me as and when required by my wife and this may include evenings, days, and sleep in nights.

My wife will let you know in advance when we need your support.

Pay rate is £13.00 per hour.

Full, paid training will be provided.
