Description

About The Role:

Are you a skilled marine/coastal consultant ready to step onto the global stage of environmental consultancy? Have you been involved in project management within the marine sector, or delivered EIA and/or HRA for marine/coastal infrastructure projects? Maybe you've worked on planning or consents for onshore developments and are looking to expand your experience to offshore projects.

If so, GoBe are looking for an EIA Co-ordinator to join them working at the forefront of environmental and planning consultancy services for the offshore wind sector.

Working with experienced Project Managers, you will develop financial and program management skills, preparing you to lead on smaller projects in this area, and over time, leading on larger projects.

You will develop your existing skills and knowledge across offshore infrastructure projects, working across all aspects of the consenting process and become a trusted advisor for clients and stakeholders.

About you

Your practical experience in marine science and/or renewables, alongside a track record of supporting or delivering on EIA and/or HRA for offshore infrastructure development projects in the UK (in offshore renewables or other marine development sector) will prepare you to take on management of consents and planning projects in the offshore sector.

Knowledge from a degree in a Marine/Environmental discipline and experience of working within the planning process (ideally in England, Wales, Scotland, Northern Ireland and/or the Republic of Ireland) is also required.

Perhaps most importantly, you will need a passion for the world around us with an open mind to learning new skills and continuous improvement.

You will be offered the chance to work on a variety of projects, with many of our employees having worked on projects that have been of personal interest to them.

They have also taken on work that has improved consultancy skills that have aided their career. We match this with a commitment to continuous development and learning.

We also offer benefits to look after you, from private medical insurance for all employees, access to mental health first aiders and comprehensive income protection if you cannot work.

We also offer superb flexible working options, balancing work with your life.
