Homecare Assistant Benefits:

Great rates of pay -
£12-£14 per hour and double pay for any calls carried out on bank holidays

_ Minimum of 1 hour calls_ **- giving you the time to care and get to know your clients

Mileage paid at 30p a mile after first ten miles a day. Travel time included in contracted hours

Responsibilities:
Being a Care Professional is an essential role supporting older people to live well at home.
With the support of our team and industry leading training, you can feel fully equipped to deliver the high-quality care Home Instead has become known for.
Here's what you could be doing:
- Companionship
- ensuring a client enjoys regular and meaningful social interaction is an important part of your visit
- Help with everyday tasks such as; meal preparation and light housework
- Accompanying to appointments or shopping
- Personal care supporting our clients with the essentials such as bathing, showering, dressing and grooming to keep them healthy and independent.
Qualifications:
- Your smile, laugh and ability to listen will make an elderly person feel safe and give you the satisfaction that you are delivering great care and supporting them to stay home safe and independent.
- It would be useful to have some experience of working in a care setting or interacting with older people. This could be personal experience of caring for a family member or voluntary experience. However this is not necessary as we offer a great environment to develop your life skills, provide FULL industryleading training from the start, and will support you throughout your career with us.
have a driving licence and access to a suitable means of transport.
