Description

Despatch Warehouse Operative permanent role in Wetherby. An experienced warehouse operative with goods out / despatch skills, to quality check, allocate, load and despatch goods within a busy manufacturing company.

This is a great role with a progressive company that will train and develop people with their careers. This is a modern, busy and supportive company with a requirement for a great team player.

Supporting the despatch operation, you will be a key member of the team ensuring the service they provide to their customers is of exceptional quality.

Leading a team of operatives, maintaining standards in Health & Safety, quality, housekeeping and within agreed levels, whilst delivering the daily production plan.

You will be:

Experienced in despatch operations including quality checks, despatch paperwork and allocations
Ideally, used to metal works or engineering products or high volume detailed products
Confident and good with IT skills; proficient in Microsoft, particularly word and excel.
Highly aware of Health and Safety, ideally trained with basic certification, but full training will be given.
FLT experienced on counter balance and ideally Reach

The role:

You will read and work to daily production plans and lead times, allocating spaces and loads as a team.
Ensure accurate quality checks are complete and work with colleagues to resolve any problems
Load vehicles and move pallets safely
Work with a team to assist in deadlines for assembly, quality tests and checks
Complete basic paperwork and print offs for customer orders
Health and Safety best practice throughout
General warehouse and clean down duties

Our client is offering a permanent contract, full time hours of 8-5pm Monday to Thursday and an early finish on a Friday.
