Hull City Council are recruiting for the position of Visitor Information Assistant.


The postholder will work closely with colleagues to assist in providing a world class welcome to visitors to the city.

Based at the Information Centre in Paragon Interchange but with the ability to work across the city centre the role provides a link between the Visit Hull team and accommodation providers, attractions, and event organisers.


Working with the wider tourism team, Visit Hull & East Yorkshire and HEY Volunteers the role will support wider visitor welcome initiatives including, conferences, coach & group visits and large-scale citywide events.


There will be an element of clerical and administrative duties to complete, including the processing of incoming enquiries and ensuring the promotional literature is relevant and up to date.

The postholder will require excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to communicate and work collaboratively and effectively with colleagues and industry partners.
