Description

As a Waste Operative you will be responsible for the removal of all kitchen rubbish using a tractor and trailer around the National Exhibition Centre campus.

You will also be processing of waste from exhibitions/shows using compactors and waste skips, ensuringclient satisfaction and customer excellence is achieved and services are delivered to agreed standards.

Main Duties:

Processing of waste delivered by build up/break down operatives using compactor equipment.
Collection of waste from kitchen areas using a tractor to tow bins back to the compactor area for processing.
Collection of wheelie bins from the kitchen areas using a tractor and trailer and delivery to waste pretreatment centre for processing.
Ensure correct PPE is worn at all times
Euro bins to be emptied and returned to kitchen areas, this is a continuous operation throughout the day.
Responsible for Health & Safety for yourself and others who may be affected by your actions.
Ensure that you have received the necessary training so that you can competently carry out duties & responsibilities.
Take responsibility for ensuring that the plant and equipment is maintained and fit for purpose.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

Experience

Previous cleaning experience desirable
Machine experience desirable (compactor operation, forklift)
