What to Expect
As the Bill of Materials (BoM) and Specification Supervisor, you will get the opportunity to lead, manage and coordinate personnel to ensure smooth operations within the Imports and Exports Operations team.
This will cover direct liaison with our global contract manufacturers both in terms of UK support and direct market representation giving you great exposure to various stakeholders.
Working in conjunction with senior management, business development and programme management, you'll assist in the development of new project launches and future strategy proposals.
You will get the opportunity to work with the Imports and Exports Pack Shop team, this team supports the introduction and ongoing assembly of Jaguar Land Rover products in overseas markets.
The goal is to ensure that the correct level of material is supplied to meet the required market build standards for Bill of Material (BoM) integrity, packaging, quality and safety.
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities- Assist in planning specifications for current and new Imports and Exports Operations projects
- Validate bills of materials to process and resolution of concerns
- Support market claims and problem log closures
- Control local content activity in existing markets
- Coordinate and deliver current market projects
What You'll Need
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- Experience of Engineering Change Management
- Experience in endtoend management of BOM
- Knowledge of problem solving
- Ability to work independently and proactively, taking full ownership and responsibility for own work; fully invested in achieving a successful result.
- Strong interpersonal/communication skills, including ability to manage/lead/support relationships and communicate effectively at all levels.
