Description
Self-employed bookkeeper to provide administrative support for the Senior Accountant from our busy production office.This is a part time role for 1 day/week, working on Thursdays in our office in Willesden Junction.
You will be responsible for running Xero Software, data entry onto Xero accounts, dealing with payroll records, issuing invoices, chasing unpaid invoices, BACS payments to suppliers, and Bank reconciliation.
List of duties:
- Recording financial transactions
- Handling accounts payable and receivable
- Paying regular bills for the company
- Appropriately coding the bills with the right ledgers and project reference number
- Bank Reconciliation
- Business Account, Petty Cash and Credit Cards account
- Update regularly the Spreadsheet Culprits and Cash Flows
- Credit Control
- Checking all Direct Debits and Standing Orders
- Keeping staff sickness, annual leave records
- Payroll records and Journals
- To carry out all other tasks as are commensurate with this post
Requirements:
- Administration skills
- Previous working experience as bookkeeper
- Knowledge and competency in accounting principles
- Knowledge in accruals and prepaid Journals
- Knowledge in MS Excel and Xero Software
- Sound interpersonal skills
Salary:
£26,000 pro rata
