Applications are invited for the Trust post of Specialty Registrar for Community Paediatrics at Wirral University Teaching Hospital (WUTH).

Duties include

Assessment and management of new patients in an outpatient setting
Ongoing followup and management of patients in an outpatient setting
Provide child protection on call
Attend Multidisciplinary meetings
Complete school and nursery observations and liaise with education
Medical student supervision and teaching.
Contribution to development of guidelines.
Contribution to/involvement in directorate governance agenda.

If successful in this role, there is a requirement for you to have a standard/enhanced DBS.

This will be paid for by the Trust and then deducted from your salary over a period of 3 month.

As this vacancy is within the division of Women's and Children's, there is a mandatory requirement for successful applicants to join the DBS update service.

The cost of joining the update service is £13 per year, and applicants are liable to cover this cost with no reimbursement from the Trust.
