My exclusive client, a repuptable Law Firm based in Preston City Centre is looking for a Finance Manager on a permanent basis.

The business is undergoing a period of significant change and this newly created role is an ideal opportunity for an individual lookingto mentor a small team and assist the Head of Finance.

You will work closely with the various department heads to provide and continuously develop the necessary and relevant financial information.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Develop the Management Information within the business and expand the scope of data available.
  • Alongside the MD, Head of Finance and Department Heads, you will establish key performance indicators for all departments and integrate them into reporting
  • Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts and monitoring performance.
  • Prepare information for and assist with both the annual statutory audit
  • Complete the monthly P&L review and investigate any significant variances.
  • Analyse and review overheads on a monthly basis. Work with support functions to identify opportunities to reduce overhead spend.
