Join us as the Ethical Specialist and you will contribute to the development and delivery of our ethical strategy through supporting suppliers and engagement with internal teams.
You will play a key role in ensuring that all our own brand products are sourced ethically as part of our wider responsible sourcing strategy.
This role will sit within the team responsible for managing our ethical service providers and working with our suppliers to drive continuous improvement and greater transparency.
Quality & Sourcing Team
Quality & Sourcing manages the technical development of our product ranges, ensuring we are offering the best possible quality and value for the customer.
Ethical Department
The ethical department is embedded within the Quality Team.
Managing the ethical compliance of our supply chain to our own ethical policy to ensure the rights of the workers in our supply chain are respected and our brand protected.

What you'll be doing:
- Manage ethical policy breach workstreams.
- Attend weekly branded call and manage NC's.
- Review spot check reports as they come in and feedback/escalate
- Attend monthly high risk factory review meetings and manage follow up actions.
- Manage NHM / Disney factory list, approvals, renewal.
- Provide response and corrective action plans to supplier issues, findings
- Ethical training at monthly Housewarming / carry out CSR training with new starters
- Support buyers and suppliers with new supplier onboarding process
- Review new DTC suppliers and manage onboarding process
What we'll look for in you:
- Experience of involvement in managing ethical programmes for retailers / brands
- Ability to develop strong and meaningful relationships with stakeholders including internal teams, suppliers, and any other 3rd party organisations in order to drive change.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and able to communicate at all levels.
- Familiar with ETI, Sedex, SMETA systems and processes
- Passionate about making a difference and having a positive impact on our future.
