Salary:
£40,000 - £45,000 Basic, Private Medical Healthcare, Company Pension Scheme, 22 Days Holiday Plus Bank Holidays, Full Product Training.
We are looking for Transport & Logistics Manager with strong organisation and leadership skills. An exciting opportunity to work within one of the market leading crane companies who are renowned for their brand, strong product line, and 'example setting'culture.
Within the Transport & Logistics Manager role, you will head up the transport, working closely with internal stakeholders, ensuring the legal compliance relating to mobile cranes and vehicles. You shall have full autonomy within your role, offeringsupport to a team of drivers in return.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a small team of drivers including driver management, route setting, and road closures
- Ensure operational transport compliance
- Coordinate the delivery and collection of the cranes and vehicles inline with legislation
- Maintain and upkeep crane inspection records and policies
- Understand and comply with the health and safety regulations
- Submit Transport updates and reports to Senior Management Team
Skills and experience required:
- CPC Qualification
- Experience in transport management role with strong understanding of Transport Compliance and People Management
- Previous experience working within the Crane Hire or Plant Hire markets
- Experience of vehicle routing and excellent geographical knowledge
- Experience of building relations and working with drivers on a daily basis
