Libraries Unlimited is an independent charity running 50 libraries across Devon and 4 libraries in Torbay, and a range of other business support, community development and health & wellbeing services.

We have approximately 380 members of staff working across our multiple locations.

We are also an Arts Council England (ACE) National Portfolio Organisation (NPO), expanding our services to include high-quality arts and cultural events and activities for our users.

We know first-hand that libraries change lives. We believe great libraries build communities. We champion libraries as a mechanism for tackling inequality and enabling everyone to reach their full potential.

This role will make that happen day in, day out, ensuring we are increasingly relevant now and in the future.

You would be leading the day to day service across our libraries including our digital offering.

In addition, you will be positioning the charity to be at the forefront of service excellence both with the services we provide and the customer experience.

The role will involve defining and implementing strategy, staff and service development, and budget management. You will oversee day to day team performance and the drive towards continued service excellence.

We are looking for someone with a proven track record of leading individuals and multidisciplinary teams including strategy and project management experience, and who is skilled in leading and managing change across an organisation and continually looking for improvements and innovation.

You will have significant experience of library management and delivery.

Salary:
£49,000.00-£56,500.00 per year
