ROLE SUMMARY


The GH Facilities Lead will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and operation of BAT global head office building in London.

This includes leading all aspects of the building's facilities, catering and sustainability element.

They will also handle the budget for the building's facilities, ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations, and develop and maintain relationships with key partners, including BAT employees, contractors, and suppliers.

In addition to these responsibilities, the GH Facilities Lead will also manage catering services for the office building and sustainability initiatives.

They will supervise energy, water usage and waste management practices to identify areas for improvement.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee the maintenance and operation of the office building's facilities.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the efficient operation of the building's facilities.
  • Handle the budget for the building's facilities.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations.
  • Lead all aspects of the building's projects, including planning, budgeting, and execution.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key partners, including tenants, contractors, and suppliers.
  • Manage catering services for the office building.
  • Ensure that catering services are provided in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure that catering services meet the needs of tenants.
  • Lead sustainability initiatives for the office building.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure that sustainability initiatives are effective.
  • Supervise energy usage and waste management practices to identify areas for improvement.

EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE

ESSENTIAL

Experience & Skills Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management or a related field.
  • At least 7+ years of experience in facilities management.
  • Experience handling projects from conception to completion.
  • Knowledge of catering and sustainability practices and regulations.
  • Experience handling budgets and financial reporting.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and timemanagement skills.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to empower and lead a team effectively.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships with partners at all levels
