Key responsibilities:


Strategic

  • Work with Managing Director to define the quarterly and annual business objectives and business plan and cascade these to the team
  • Keeping up to date with and implement compliance and operational processes to across the team
  • Create accurate pipeline forecasting and management information for the leadership team
  • Create a strategic plan of target employers in the region that we would like to work with and work with the team on the activities required for conversion
  • Database management

Business Development

  • Attending networking and other relevant events to raise the profile of the brand
  • Working with the internal sales and marketing team to establish targets and cross sell opportunities to maximise revenue opportunities
  • Take part in and ensure Business Development activity is high quality and regular, to secure new customers and establish ways to grow existing customers though cross sell opportunities
  • Establish innovative ways to build the brand, ways to improve the service we offer to market and look for additional revenue streams outside of our core offering
  • Work with the marketing team on all existing and new business marketing, ensuring follow ups via yourself and the team.
  • Work with the marketing team on our annual events calendar ensuring maximum attendance, success, and exposure from each thus improving brand perception and creating new and loyal customers

Leadership

  • Act as a role model for the recruitment and marketing team and take responsibility for the recruitment of, training and coaching of your team including managing performance
  • Take part in daily team meetings and ensure weekly/monthly individual 121's to ensure the team are fully supported and establish coaching and development needs
  • Drive a high performing team whilst taking full accountability for the business targets

Experience:


  • Experience of working as a Manager in a recruitment agency would be preferred, internal recruitment managers will also be considered
  • Proven track record of Business Development and exceeding revenue targets
  • High performer against objectives
  • Working with budgets and cascading these through the team
  • Pipeline/Management information reporting
  • Permanent and temporary recruitment knowledge would be preferred

Skills and Competencies:


  • Working in white collar and blue collar recruitment
  • Understanding of retained recruitment billing models as well as contingent
  • Proven experience of coaching and leading teams
