The Role
As a Materials Planner/Controller you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary.

You will be in charge of planning, controlling and managing Inventory requirements to ensure availability meets operational demands; the role is tasked with providing material and inventory analysis on a unit by unit basis, controlling and optimising opportunities where they prevail, mitigating any potential supply risks and ensuring customer satisfaction at all times.


Day to Day tasks include:


  • Supporting the Category Contract Manager
  • Management of all category stock at multiple locations
  • Timely resolution of Quality Issues
  • Schedule and plan the movement of Material.
  • Maintain Supplier performance in line with production demand.
  • Maintain accurate stock records.
  • Liaise with production staff to identify Material Demands
This is a hybrid role with 2-3 days per week based onsite at Rosyth.


Essential Skills of the Material Planner/ Controller:

  • Previous experience of working in a role that involves the control and planning of raw materials.
  • Exposure to working with Suppliers and Sub Contractors
