Hemel, Hempstead

Permanent

£25,000 - £40,000 DOE

28 days holiday including bank holidays, Company p ension, Annual Performance based bonus and increase, Hybrid (Flexible), Laptop.

We are looking to speak with experienced Bookkeepers to work for an accountancy practice client of ours based in Hemel, Hempstead.

My client is an Accountancy practice that has been established in Hemel Hempstead for over 20 years, serving businesses and private clients throughout Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire, London and even further afield.

They are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join their close knit practice and who wants to grow within their ranks.

Key Responsibilities for the Bookkeeper:

Bookkeeping
Preparation of practice accounts
Preparation of VAT returns
Liaising with clients to deal with accounting and tax issues
Training of junior staff

Essential Skills and Competencies:

Minimum of 3 years experience working in an accounting practice (nonnegotiable).
Fully or partqualified AAT and/or fully or partqualified ATA qualification is an advantage.
Ability to undertake the duties autonomously.
Working knowledge of IRIS Accounts production or a similar package.
Experience of using Quickbooks and/ or Sage.
Experience of using IRIS is an advantage.
