Assembly fitter

Hours:

First 12 weeks (no rotation):
Monday - Thursday | 08:00 - 16:30 / Friday | 08:00 - 15:30

After 12 weeks (rotation):

AM:
Monday - Thursday | 06:00 - 13:45 / Friday | 06:00 - 12:45

PM:
Monday - Thursday | 13:1- 21:00 / Friday | 13:1- 18:40

Hourly Salary:

First 12 weeks (no rotation):
£10.50 per hour

After 12 weeks, (rotation): £ % (shift allowance) = £13.44 per hour

Role Type:
Temp to perm

Responsibilities:

Responsible for the assembling and testing of all orders passed to the assembly department, ensuring that all instructions on the customer orders fulfilled
Responsible for following assembly drawings and procedures
Communicate with assembly and other departments where necessary
Ensure orders completed within the dates acknowledged to the customer
To be an active member of the assembly team
Assist your line manager or supervisor in any other projects as requested
Basic assembly experience an advantage
Basic knowledge of computers
Ability to read assembly drawings and to follow work instruction documents
Ability to communicate directly with the assembly team.
Previous experience in this field would be an advantage, though full training will be given for this role
