Description

We are looking for an experienced, organised and adaptable person to be based within the PCN team at the Linden centre, Chelmsford.

You should be able to multi task, deal with patients who may be aggressive and be able to stay calm in difficult situations.

You will be required to cover other administrative roles during times of leave/staff shortages.

What is Staff Bank?


Our EPUT NHS staff bank is an entity managed by the trust that hires clinical and non-clinical healthcare professionals to take on shifts at our trust hospitals and community settings.

Here at EPUT we maintain our own bank of specialist staff to ensure that we are able offer safe and effective care at all times.


All our permanent staff are automatically enrolled onto the staff bank however this does not mean you have to work any additional shifts, but the option is there for you if you wish.


If you are joining our Trust in a fixed term role, please indicate on your New Starter Paperwork that you wish to join our staff bank.


ROLE SUMMARY

  • To provide input to the centralised department providing a comprehensive administration service and functions within the Trusts' Localities.
  • The service will ensure the timely and accurate recording of all activity across services using Trust information systems.
  • The service will require a team approach to ensure cover for absence across all services / locations.
  • Post holders, as appropriate, will be required to provide administration duties on behalf of these services.
  • Due to the nature of the role a strong emphasis is placed on safeguarding confidentiality and this forms a prerequisite for every Administration Assistant / Ward Clerk.
  • The Post Holder will be required to work on a rota system to cover core office hours, where appropriate across the Mid Teams.
