Introduction:

My client is a large defence and engineering consultancy who provide through-life support to the UK's military and other customers across the globe.

They are looking for an experienced Technical Illustrator to work on a large Electronic Warfare (EW) programme.

You will need to know how to create graphics that comply with S1000D and an interest in working with 3D multimedia.

This role will be primarily remote with occasional travel to customer sites.

Key responsibilities:

Deliver technical publications for EW equipment.
Create original graphics that comply with S1000D.
Develop your 3D multimedia skills.
Use leading graphic and multimedia software.
Training will be provided to make full use of the software available.

Skills & experience:

Previous experience adhering to ASD-S1000D Issue 4.
Well versed in supporting defence equipment.
Previous experience supporting mechanical, electrical or communications systems.
Isometric / 2D Illustrations
Animation (3D) (Desirable)
CSDB / IETP Management using EAGLE Toolset (Desirable)
Adobe Acrobat Professional (Desirable)
3D CAD
