We are looking for a talented, customer focused professional to join our growing team in our Stone Cross office.

You will report direct into the Facilities Manager, the role of Help desk/ administrator will be orientated around providing site support across the Murphy estate ensuring that high levels of service are provided to all stakeholders across all areas of hard and soft facilities management.


What you will be doing

  • Respond in a timely professional manner
  • Input data into the CAFM system
  • Monitor the Planned Preventative Maintenance schedule
  • Provide feedback to originator
  • Assist the team to complete items originating from the CAFM system
  • Assisting with the completion of a Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) system within the Murphy estate supporting the avoidance of incidents and issues
  • Energy and utility management across all offices to ensure this is being reduced over the long term.
  • Ensure incidents and requests are dealt with efficiently and professionally and that they are closed out and monitored effectively
  • Work in a manner that promotes best practice in health, safety, quality, sustainability, and environmental matters in conjunction with the SHESQ department.
  • To comply with company standards, policies and procedures.
  • Always act in a responsible manner with regard to conduct both while on site and while representing the company, including while driving a vehicle provided by the company
  • Stand in for the Senor CAFM operator when required
  • Establish a strong working relationship with the Facilities Manager and sites point of contact.
  • Work on relationships across all levels of the organisation.
  • Communicate effectively at all levels of the company
  • Ability to manage and build relationship with diverse stakeholders.
  • Work to build an understanding of the estate
  • Maintain a proactive approach to procurement to fulfil the requests and requirements
  • Observe the right firsttime approach to items procured
  • Ongoing management of the Murphy estate in line with agreed annual budget.
  • Act in an honest and accountable way when involved in any activity requiring funding

Who we are looking for

  • Experience in a similar position working on CAFM
  • Computer literate especially with regard to ability to use excel and word or other office protocols.
  • Experience in working in an office or "hotdesk" or "Agile" working environment
  • Some understanding of M&E systems to the extent to be able to refer the issues to a specialist or pass on information to the sites point of contact or a specialist contractor from an approved list
  • Previous experience of Concept preferred
  • Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
