Are you a dynamic and experienced professional with a passion for driving positive change in Children's Services and Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)? We are currently seeking a SEND Inspection Lead on behalf of a Local Authority for a 3-month contract in the heart of London.


Responsibilities:


As the SEND Inspection Lead, you will be at the forefront of inspection and improvement activities, playing a pivotal role in fostering strong partnerships, particularly with the Integrated Children's Board (ICB).


Your key responsibilities will include:

Primary Point of Contact: Act as the primary point of contact and leader for inspection and improvement activities, building strong partnerships with the Integrated Children's Board (ICB).

Framework Development: Lead the development and updates of SEND Self Evaluation Frameworks (SEFs) to ensure alignment with the latest inspection frameworks.

Inspection Preparations: Spearhead meticulous inspection preparations, capturing and maintaining vital information for submission to inspection teams.

Stakeholder Engagement: Drive stakeholder engagement regarding inspections, ensuring a collaborative and informed approach.

Inspection Response: Guide the response during inspections and facilitate the implementation of action plans post-inspection.

Strategy Implementation: Contribute to the creation of a SEND strategy implementation plan.

Reporting and Presentations: Craft insightful reports and presentations for various stakeholders, including elected members.
