Customer Service & Online Advisor


One of the largest flooring and bed retailers in the UK, offering their customers a fantastic collection of quality products including flooring and beds all at great value along with an excellent and dedicated customer service experience throughout.

We are looking for Customer Service & Online Advisors, who's duties will also include complaint handling.


Customer Service & Complaints Handler Duties:
We are looking for a confident person who can deal with complaints effectively and professionally. You will need excellent communication skills in order to communicate effectively with internal, external and our franchise parties.

It is important that youare professional at all times to ensure our customers maintain an excellent level of customer service.


  • Dealing with customer service enquires on after sales.
  • Identify our customers' needs, clarify information and provide creative advice and solutions.
  • Ensuring all complaints are logged accurately, acknowledged and a written response completed in accordance with company policy.
  • Inbound and outbound calls with customers, suppliers and internal colleagues.
  • Escalating serious complaints in line with company procedures, as well as resolving escalated queries before they become a complaint.
  • Communicating effectively, both internally and externally and with senior members of staff.

Online Advisor Duties:

Our Online Advisors are at the forefront of our business.

And you'll be responsible for all customers that visit our online store and ensure that they are given a high level of customer service.

You will be required to build a rapport with our customers over the telephone and on live chat. To succeed you will build an understanding of the customer's needs through providing a creative and knowledgeable consultation.

  • Processing online orders, ensuring that all information is transferred correctly.
  • Building a knowledge of all products within our catalogue in order to correctly advise customers.
  • Handling telephone calls and managing live online chat conversations.
  • Providing quality and competitive flooring and bed quotes whilst maximising all sales opportunities.
  • Outbound calls to customers to follow up on enquiries and retail finance.
  • Ensure the quality of customer details that are gathered through calls and live online chat.
  • Forwarding all website generated leads to our franchise network.
  • Present a positive image of the company and the services we offer at all times.
  • Proactively build a rapport with callers to ascertain customer needs and provide appropriate solutions.
  • Maintain working knowledge of all service promotions and ensure that these are presented to the customer clearly and concisely.

Experience:

All administration is computer system based so computer skills are required. Previous customer service experience is desired, but not essential.
