Job purpose, tasks and responsibilities:


Join us as a Design Lead, where you'll work with our internal teams to craft innovative, customer-focused creative concepts that provide an exceptional user experience for ICA customers.

You'll get the opportunity to translate written briefs and partner requirements into engaging, relevant visual presentations across various mediums.

As a key member of the team, you'll take the creative lead, delivering design concepts and solutions.

Your day-to-day tasks will include:

  • Collaborating with the Brand Design Manager to unearth the most captivating narratives for our campaigns.
  • Working with partners including product managers, marketing managers, learning developers, and copywriters to contribute creatively to the development of design concepts used across various materials.
  • Maintaining the Design Language and brand identity across all ICA published materials.
  • Developing visual concepts and design ideas that effectively answer a brief, communicate a message, and convey ICA's brand identity.
  • Preparing and marking up signedoff artwork for various mediums, ensuring files meet technical specifications and are optimized for their intended output.
  • Collaborating as part of a team, sharing expertise and best practices, and contributing your skills to others' projects as needed.
  • Prioritizing tasks effectively, juggling multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Managing time for revisions, client feedback, and iterations to ensure the timely delivery of highquality designs.
  • Working independently with confidence and initiative when required.
  • Staying on top of industry developments, learning new tools and techniques, and adapting your skills to deliver innovative and contemporary designs.

Essential and desirable capabilities:

You will also need;


Essential:


  • Strong creativity and hands on multiple channels design skills.
  • Fluent with Adobe Creative Cloud (particularly Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign).
  • Exceptional attention to detail to ensure accurate, precise, and consistent results.
  • Experience of pitching ideas to stakeholders with an ability to analyse, question and challenge.
  • Experience of analysing problems, evaluating design solutions, and making informed decisions about layout, colour, typography, and other design elements.
  • The ability to ideate, conceptualise and take a brief from inception to completion.
  • Strong time management, with the ability to prioritise and work effectively in a fastpaced environment.
  • A design related degree or equivalent.

Desirable:


  • Experience with workflow management tools such as JIRA, Tempo and Kantata.
  • Experience in the use and workflow integration of Digital Asset Management systems.
  • A keen interest in all areas of graphic design with a watchful eye on design trends and industry developments.
  • Adaptable and open to learning new techniques, tools, and design trends to stay relevant and meet evolving stakeholder needs.
  • Experience in digital animation, filmography editing, post production.
