Network Planner
Position Summary:
The primary role of the Network Planner is to develop and ensure reliable product supply to markets in line with customer service and inventory targets.
The supply plan must ensure a continuous and efficient supply of finished goods/, Semi-Finished and Bulk products to internal manufacturing/EEM Hubs and Affiliates.
The generation of the Production/Supply plan considers Rough Cut Capacity Planning and Inventory Targets.Responsibilities:
Supply Planning:
- Generate a supply plan in IBP for all Finished, Semi-Finished and Bulk products to support the demand requirements and achieve inventory objectives while ensuring the production plan is in accordance with all constraints.
- Using RCCP, level load the key production resources to optimise the supply plan.
- Identify potential supply issues and using scenario planning, develop mitigation actions and communicate proposals throughout the Network for implementation.
- Manage Life-Cycle products at all levels ensuring product availability for launches and minimizing inventory losses for rationalisations
- Perform Rough Cut Capacity Projection for key Resources to understand capacity constraints and develop/communicate mitigation proposals.
- Align with Network SC Leaders on any managed Supply situations and ensure the business priorities are reflected in the current Supply Plan.
- Attend the Network/Site/EEM R&OPs and influence key Stake Holders on required actions to mitigate supply issues.
- Lead Brand S&OPs
- Hold regular meetings with the detailed schedulers to discuss and align on the schedule, priorities, and adherence to schedule.
Data Analytics:
- Using IBP, perform "What If" scenario planning and communicate options throughout the Network to provide an optimized supply plan.
- Use data analytics to compare actual capacity/throughput with master data and change as required.
- Analyse and periodic review of the planning parameters in S4/IBP to optimise the Business Requirements and Supply Plan.
Communication / Networking:
- Establish a strong relationship with Elanco Network Supply Chain Leaders and Site/EEM Detailed schedulers.
- Generate input to Site/EEM R&OPs to highlight potential risks/opportunities with the current plan and influence the business to the optimal solution
