Our client, a leader in the Electronic Monitoring/Software industry is on the hunt for a Proposal Writer to join their team in late January.

The Proposal Writer will author, proofread and edit content, check drafts for consistency, clarity, relevance, and persuasiveness of the material.

The Proposal Writer will ensure content is well-written, accurate and compliant with the requirements of eachsolicitation and see the entire process through from request to delivery.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Write, edit, review content ensuring a high level of quality.
Read and maintain a marketing collateral library working with the sales team to compare and contrast RFP responses in order to create the best content.
Be a team player while creating templates, assign work distribution, and communicate deadlines to team members.
Maintain a highlevel technical understanding of competitive hardware & software products.
Managing one's own time and that of others through organizing, planning, and prioritizing work while supporting marketing team.
Reporting regularly to marketing director on project status.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Proficient in MSOffice (Word, Outlook, Excel, Power Point)
Must have excellent organizational and time management skills
Graphic Design/Photoshop experience a plus
RFP experience a plus
Must be tech savvy and quick to learn new systems

Requirements:

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree preferred; high school diploma required
57 years' previous experience in a professional work environment required

This role will pay a base range of $67,000 - $75,000.

Please not that due to the nature of the business this role does require for an extensive background check and drug test to be carried out.
