Are you a proactive, organised and skilled administrator looking to join a small team of office staff?
St.

Teresa's Catholic Voluntary Academy are looking to appoint an Admin Assistant to work in our existing dedicated and successful support team.


You will work in our main school office you will come into daily contact with our parents and staff so, as well as having administrative experience, you will also possess excellent communication and customer service skills and have a friendly, outgoing manner.

This is a permanent, part-time, role working 15 hours per week, on a term time only basis.

About the role

As Admin Assistant you will:

  • Provide administrative support to senior leaders and general administrative support in the main office.
  • Maintain our Pupil Information System
  • Manage in school finances such as the schools cashless system.
  • Liaise with parents on behalf of the teaching staff.

About you:


  • You have excellent IT skills.
  • You have the ability to work on your own initiative and to prioritise tasks.
  • Have excellent communication skills as you will be working closely with our parents and carers.
  • Have previous administrative experience preferably in a school office.
  • Have the ability to maintain a calm, positive and professional manner at all time.
  • Demonstrate accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Be positive and enthusiastic.
