Ideal Recruit are looking for an experienced Warehouse co-ordinator/storeman with FLT licence.


Purpose of the Job:
Ensure the safe and efficient receipt, storage, picking, movement, and dispatch of warehoused goods, ensuring
all productivity targets are met


Pay Rate:
£11.90


Hours:
Monday

  • Thursday and Friday

Key Responsibilities and Outcomes:

  • Work in a safe manner and comply with workplace environmental Health and Safety Policies identifying and
resolving potential hazards.

  • Responsible for identifying and escalating any damaged or unsafe equipment, using safety spot process.
  • Take pride in the workplace and carry out 5s and housekeeping requirements daily
  • Loading and offloading of vehicles in the yard for goods receiving or dispatching of goods.
  • Inspect, check, and confirm receipt of all goods into the warehouse.
  • If applicable decant and label goods.
  • Store received goods in appropriate storage locations in a safe manner.
  • Pick goods from various locations and deliver to the operational area(s).
  • Pick, pack, and shipment of Finished Goods according to the customer requirements, ensure completed work
orders are available, and the Finished Goods have been physically dispatched.

  • Consolidation of stock, maintaining batch control and FIFO to maximize space.
  • Conduct weekly cycle counts and annual stock take.
  • Key user for warehouse management systems and automated storage and retrieval systems.
  • Maintain service records and complete daily checks on all warehouse vehicles, machinery, equipment,
and racking.

  • Contribute to all warehouse metrics, performance, and root cause countermeasures, inclusive of EHS, Customer
OTD (First Promise), Gross and Net Inventory, Slow and Non-Moving Stock, Net Value accuracy and Absolutely

quantity accuracy., warehouse and premium freight costs.

  • Maintain healthy stock levels of all consumable items required by the department.

Qualifications & Technical knowledge:
Essential

  • Previous experience of warehousing and/or inventory control.
  • Previous experience and knowledge of warehouse safety.
  • Valid Forklift truck license Desirable
  • Familiarization with Warehouse management systems.
  • Valid driving license

Personal Specification:
Essential

  • Able to work well as part of a team
  • High level of attention to detail, with a logical and methodical thinking.
  • Good communication skills.
