Job overview:
A newly created post within the Mental Health Directorate Operational Management Structure and has been created to enhance and strengthen the managerial team and add management capacity into the service.
You will be joining a dynamic and supportive senior leadership team to help meet the challenges across the directorate in 2023 and beyond.
We are looking for an energetic and passionate Manager to encourage and contribute to creating an innovative ADHD Assessment Service, informed by an evidence base.
There will be a key focus on quality improvement to enhance services.
You will be responsible for providing high quality operational leadership to a defined group of services within the directorate and will work alongside the Service Managers and the Associate Director of Mental health to develop the ADHD Assessment Service.
You will make strong links with the wider directorate and multi-agency provision and foster seamless care pathways to ensure an informed approach across organisation.
This is a key role and you will be expected to deliver innovative services that are responsive and provide the best value for the population of Cornwall, their family, and their carers.
You will be working with services, commissioners, and service users to develop and expand the service within the confines of an agreed budget.
You will work towards an agreed set of KPI's with a focus on quality. There is the potential for services to create a meaningful pathway for those with Neuro diversity.Main duties of the job:
The post holder will work under the guidance of and alongside the Associate Director of Operations and relevant Service Managers.
To work closely with GP's, social Care and the Voluntary sector to develop and deliver integrated care across the county
Manage a complex range of services, pathways and systems of care
Manage service delivery, relationship management, performance management and participate in the Business Planning process for the service
