Position:
Electrical Fitter / Panel Wirer

Location:
Stoke on Trent

Hourly rate:
£13.00ph - £14.00ph


Proactive are currently recruiting for multiple skilled Electrical Fitters / Panel Wirers to start work immediately for a well-known client based in Stoke on Trent.

This is an exciting opportunity to work for an industry leader in the design and manufacture high quality inspection equipment.


About the role:


You will be working as part of a wider team and contributing to the production of a number of bespoke products by wiring and assembling, installation and testing of various electronic/electrical components to a very high standard.


Responsibilities:


  • Wiring and assembly of electrical and electronic components according to requirements
  • Use of jig boards, hand tools/power tools etc
  • Crimping using tools or machine crimping device.
  • Fixing wires to connection points using hand tools.
  • Ability to read/interpret engineering drawings and/or schematics
  • Cutting wires to required measurements
  • Insulation of various connections.
  • Connection or wires to wiring to accessories, such as relays, circuit breakers, plugs, switches and solenoids and
  • Installation of parts, assemblies and subassemblies
  • Conducting tests on electrically assembled products and wire harnesses using various electrical testing instruments.

Skills / Experience

  • Relevant hands on experience is essential.
  • Wiring, Assembly and Testing of Electronic products
  • Attention to detail and production of a quality item are vital skills.
  • Knowledge or hands on experience with 240v,415v and working with Cat5 cable would also be advantageous.
