Our client has an excellent opportunity for a Paralegal to join their busy Personal Injury team.Department Specific
- setting up the new claims, engage client with client care letter, explain CFA etc
- assessing liability of the accident
- submit the claims on the OIC portal
- To arrange the medical appointments
- To review the medical evidence / medical reports
- To collate any evidence of special damages
Knowledge and skills
- It would be beneficial to have a thorough understanding of the highway code
- Able to conduct own caseload with supervision
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- IT skills commensurate with the role including ability to work without secretarial assistance utilising firm's case management system
- Commercial and financial awareness including ability to take responsibility for financial control of own client matters
- Able to develop positive relationships with clients and manage client expectations
- Marketing, networking and business development skills commensurate with the role
