Project Selborne is a Transformational Training programme with a strategic goal of modernising Royal Navy training to deliver "better trained sailors to the front line faster".
Your role as Apprenticeship Team Leader is to provide management and leadership for Apprenticeship Programmes output delivery, within a team supporting naval apprentices and Leading Hand programmes.

What you'll be doing:
- Managing a team of 6 programme facilitators
- Coordinating, monitoring and delivering all quality assurance processes in support of Apprenticeship Programmes delivery output.
- Providing and reviewing training and quality control documentation for apprenticeship delivery output to uphold centres quality assurance standards. Ensuring compliance of regulatory requirements of the customer, Awarding / Assessment organisations and Ofsted.
- Responsible for line and functional management of apprenticeship staff.
- Conducting training and supporting needs, along with the Raleigh Centre business requirements.
- Monitoring national and Award Body apprenticeship updates and changes, to remain compliant with
What we're looking for:
- Have led a team within Learning & Development
- Experience of Apprenticeship Programmes and National Occupational Standards delivery would be a distinct advantage
- IT literate with good experience of MS office
- Ability to manage a high demand workload and prioritise effectively in timebound situations.
- Ability to work independently and as a proactive member in a team.
- Ability to travel to Devonport as an when required (on average twice a week)
About Project Selborne
Project Selborne is a wide scale, 12 year transformation of Royal Navy Training.
The contract worth GBP 1 billion was awarded in December 2020 to a consortium led by Capita to deliver and modernise training for the RN.
The consortia of partners known as Team Fisher includes Raytheon UK, Fujitsu and University of Lincoln together with 14 other UK-based suppliers.
Our 'one team' philosophy is about collaboration and openness, key to the success of this programme.
