Please see attached Job Description and Person Specification for full details. The post is linked between the Oncology department at the Royal Surrey Cancer Centre and the department of Urology.

There are also strong links with the University of Surrey so providing both a wealth of clinical data together with the resources of a University.

The post holder will become an integral member of the brachytherapy team and by the end of the post will have gained certified training in both HDR and 1125 LDR Prostate Brachytherapy.

There are a number of research projects in place or about to start, and the post holder will be actively involved with and/or run including:

Completion of the focal brachytherapy trial We currently have a database with >5000 patients treated over the last 20 years.
