About Our Client:
This award winning private dental practice is rapidly growing as they have an exceptional reputation within the industry, as a result of this they are opening 2 more clinics hence there is room to progress into a Treatment Co-coordinator and Practice Manager with training provided.
- Answer the telephone and deal with patient enquiries in a positive, efficient and friendly manner.
- Schedule patient appointments in accordance with the practice policies and keep records of all appointments and remind patients of their appointments as required.
- Manage the clinical diary.
- Carry out routine housekeeping procedures on the computer, including undertaking regular backups in line with practice policies.
- Liaise with dental laboratories, suppliers and other organisations as required, keeping records of laboratory work in and out.
- Identify his/her own training and development needs and undertake appropriate training as agreed with the line manager during appraisal.
- Report equipment failures or breakages to the practice manager
- Attend practice annual training for medical emergencies and CPR
The Successful Applicant:
- Must have previous reception experience in a private dental clinic
- Manage the sales of dental sundries to patients
- To receive and deal with patient enquiries
- Collect and record patient payments and pursue any debts in accordance with the practice payments policy.
- Willing to work two Saturdays a month
