Credit Controller

Salary:
Up to £29k

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Credit Controller to join our client's dynamic finance team.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage the endtoend credit control process, including chasing outstanding debts, reconciling accounts, and ensuring timely payments.
Evaluate credit risk and set credit limits in accordance with company policies.
Communicate with clients to resolve payment discrepancies and negotiate payment plans when necessary.
Collaborate with internal departments to streamline invoicing processes and maintain accurate records.
Prepare reports on debtor status and contribute to financial forecasting activities.

Requirements:

Proven experience in credit control or a similar financial role.
Strong knowledge of credit control procedures and debt collection practices.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Proficiency in using accounting software and MS Office, particularly Excel.
A proactive approach to problemsolving and the ability to work independently.
