THE ROLE:
4 Day Week

Our client is looking for a Laboratory Assistant to join the team in lab testing, process control testing and process assurance activities.

DUTIES:

Performing multiple types of process control tests including preparing samples, recording results and making declarations based on the test.
Undertaking basic calibration work with the ability to administer the subcontract calibration requirements of the business.
Conduct multiple assurance verifications related to performance of manufacturing equipment and manufacturing environments.
Contribute to the analysis of technical issues and other investigatory processes.
Promote an understanding which ensures the discipline of standards and expectations are followed and always met.
Play an Integral part in ensuring an effective quality management system is adhered to, ensuring requirements are communicated and complied with in each area.

ABOUT YOU:

Experience within the aerospace/manufacturing industry
Experience of working within a Lab environment including aspects of test, analysis, health and safety.
Basic joinery knowledge/experience
Understanding of contractor control, energy efficiency and Lean CI

ESSENTIAL:

Lean CI Understanding of energy efficiency
Background in a laboratory environment (Ideally 12 years)
Must have some form of labs experience (can be medical/environmental) ideally in a manufacturing environment.

Hours:
Monday - Thursday | 7.15am pm

Job Types:

Salary:
From £25,000.00 per year
