We have an exciting opportunity to join us here at Phoenix Group as a
Regulatory Relationships Administrator to join our Regulatory Relationship Team in Group Risk.

The role


The Regulatory Relationships Team is responsible for managing the relationship with the Group's regulators - currently the PRA, FCA, CBI and TPR.

A positive, and open and honest relationship, is essential to support the Group in meeting its strategic objectives, maintain confidence in the Group's financial and operational resilience and promote our investment in the real economy and our customers.

The purpose of the Regulatory Relationships Administrator role is to:

  • Lead and manage the regulatory meeting process from end to end including diary management for the pre-meeting, regulator meeting, debrief meeting, room bookings, catering, and ensuring that the team is aware and has prepared the right meeting collateral and thereafter prepares the meeting notes.
  • Manage the regulatory meetings calendar and corresponding spreadsheet to ensure one source of truth and accuracy.
  • Engage with individuals at the highest levels within Phoenix Group including Executive Directors and Non-Executive Directors to the highest standards and externally across our regulators.
  • Engage across the Phoenix Group PA pool often coordinating multiple diaries.
  • Support, as required, the logging and tracking of all material correspondence with our regulators across the Group from a variety of channels.
  • Work closely with all members of the Relationship Team to ensure engagement with the regulators does not conflict with the strategic agenda and priorities of the Group.
  • Prepare and draft high quality inputs into team M.I regarding the status of regulatory meetings.
  • Act as IT Champion for the team by supporting mailbox management, new starter requirements, drive access, Teams, IT hardware, etc.
  • Support any administration tasks required within the team.

  • Work closely with all stakeholders and escalate issues/concerns to senior members of the team when necessary
  • Seek to continually educate the business on the importance of supporting the Group's regulatory supervision agenda
  • Commitment to developing processes and developing self through learning
