Person Specification

Minimum Essential Requirements

  • Right to work in the UK
  • Minimum of 2 references
  • Enhanced DBS clearance
Experience/Qualifications

  • Minimum Level 2 Teaching Assistant / Level 6 Qualification
  • Degree
  • Experience working in a primary school

Responsibilities:


  • To provide a high standard of physical, emotional, social and intellectual care for children
  • Support the school staff to facilitate the active participation of children in the academic and social activities of a school
  • Contribute to raising standards of achievement for all pupils.
  • To implement the daily routine
  • When directed, plan and implement ageappropriate activities, in conjunction with other staff
  • Assisting children in personal/intimate care
  • Regularly evaluate children's development and keep records as appropriate, as directed by the teacher
  • Liaise with parents/carers of children, only when directed by a school's class teacher
  • Uphold the Ripple Education ethos and all safeguarding requirements, including ensuring that children are supervised at all times.
  • To ensure the provision of a highquality environment to meet the needs of individual children at each stage of development
