Person SpecificationMinimum Essential Requirements
- Right to work in the UK
- Minimum of 2 references
- Enhanced DBS clearance
- Minimum Level 2 Teaching Assistant / Level 6 Qualification
- Degree
- Experience working in a primary school
Responsibilities:
- To provide a high standard of physical, emotional, social and intellectual care for children
- Support the school staff to facilitate the active participation of children in the academic and social activities of a school
- Contribute to raising standards of achievement for all pupils.
- To implement the daily routine
- When directed, plan and implement ageappropriate activities, in conjunction with other staff
- Assisting children in personal/intimate care
- Regularly evaluate children's development and keep records as appropriate, as directed by the teacher
- Liaise with parents/carers of children, only when directed by a school's class teacher
- Uphold the Ripple Education ethos and all safeguarding requirements, including ensuring that children are supervised at all times.
- To ensure the provision of a highquality environment to meet the needs of individual children at each stage of development
- Ability to work flexibly
