The Role:

For this priority position the client is hiring a Senior Frontend developer who will become a pivotal and instrumental player within the entire development department.

You'll be leading their web front-end tech strategy, helping them to build the best gamesplatform for both users and game developers.

You will take ownership for the web front-end tech strategy and the associated tech stack across ALL product teams. You'll lead projects that articulate and facilitate the tech strategy for all user-facing and webUI & related client architectures.

You'll work in collaboration with product and engineering leaders to drive forward complex, cross-team projects to ensure the technical quality of the web frontend solutions.

In addition to this you will play an active role in supporting and mentoring the engineers within the team at different levels of seniority.

Whilst this does not require formal, line management duties you will be an individual contributor on the tech leadershipcareer track.

You'll be working with a modern frontend infrastructure which includes but is not limited to TypeScript, React, Redux, GCP and Kubernetes.

The client runs a custom-written and server-side rendering solution with hot-reloading, making heavy use of protocolbuffers for all kinds of message passing.

You'll be responsible for overseeing system designs, RFC's, code reviews and other artefacts necessary to promote and implement the tech strategy.

You'll lead the web front-end community of practice, facilitate a cultureof knowledge sharing and champion engineering excellence & platform health.

5+ years in software engineering roles either working fullstack of frontend
Experience with other popular frameworks which can include either Vue, Angular of Gatsby.
