About the Role:

Planning Co-ordinator
Are you passionate about scheduling? Looking for a new challenge? Do you have experience or qualifications in planning work flow in a production environment?

As an inclusive, forward thinking business, we take pride in our approach to Planning across Avara Foods and are looking for a highly competent and motivated Planning Co-ordinator to join our Production Team, based at our Telford site, Shropshire.

Purpose of the role:

As a Planning Co-ordinator, you will support our Production Planner in managing short-term production plans required for product assembly in a fast moving, high volume and frequently changing environment.

Your key responsibilities as a Production Planner will include:

Ensure production plans are prepared, updated and communicated in a timely manner.
Provide support on planning raw material movement between the Avara sites.
Assist production schedulers in answering calls and completing administrative tasks.
Deputise for Production Planner.
Provide holiday cover for different roles within the planning department, which may involve working shifts, weekends, and supporting other sites.
Frequently review stocks of finished goods and compare against upcoming orders.
Shortterm material management and utilisation including WIP management.

Working Hours:

Monday to Friday 07:00 - 16:00

What we are looking for:

High standard of IT skills and good excel knowledge.
A logical thinker with strong numerical, analytical and evaluation skills.
Adaptable, assertive, comfortable working under pressure in a fastpaced environment.
Strong Communication skills
A good understanding of supply chain principles in a FMCG environment would be highly desirable.
