  • What Is the Opportunity?
  • As a Policy Wording and Clause Document Librarian at Travelers, you will join Travelers for a contract period of 1 year and will be responsible establishing a methodology for organizing and maintaining our policy wording and clause documents. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure accurate and uptodate policy documents are available for internal stakeholders. You will collaborate with various team, to ensure consistency and easy accessibility of policy wordings and clauses. You will create procedure guides on how the wordings folders must be managed going forward. Your attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and knowledge of insurance policy terminology will be vital in this role.


Travelers Europe currently offers flexibility to employees who wish to work on a hybrid basis in accordance with our Hybrid Work Arrangements Policy.

This entails full time employees working three days a week in the office and two days at home (or pro rata for part-time employees).

This policy may be changed at the Company's discretion.

This role is eligible for a £3,000 new joiner bonus.

What you will do:

Document Retrieval and Accessibility:

  • Establish a userfriendly filing system for easy retrieval of policy wordings and clauses by internal Stakeholders, and organise our existing folders into the new system
  • Respond to enquiries and requests related to policy wording and clause information promptly and accurately.
  • Create simple yet comprehensive guidance on how to maintain the system

Policy Document Management:

  • Systematise and reintroduce discipline, maintain and archive (where appropriate) our comprehensive library of policy wording and clause documents, ensuring proper organization and version control.
  • Regularly update, where provided by the Wordings Team, policy documents which have been amended or revised.

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Communicate changes, updates, and new releases of policy documents to relevant teams and stakeholders.
  • Prior experience in insurance policy administration, underwriting, or document management is preferred.
  • An understanding of insurance policy terminology, clauses, and coverage types.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills to maintain accurate and organized documentation.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with crossfunctional teams and communicate complex information clearly.
