The Role


The Marketing and Admissions Officer will report to the Marketing Manager and Admissions Manager and work closely with colleagues across the Nord Anglia group in the extensive Marketing and Admissions and global recruitment teams.


The College anticipates rapid growth in student numbers during the first academic year , requiring a dynamic and innovative approach from our highly successful Admissions and Marketing team.


Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Show commitment to and understanding of the College's ethos and approach
  • Establish and maintain effective professional relationships with colleagues, students, families and visitors
  • Provide support to the marketing and admissions departments in all marketing activities relevant to the College's growth and strategic direction
  • Comply with data protection and safeguarding requirements as fits working in an educational environment with young people
  • Participate as required in meetings with colleagues, parents and other visitors
  • Support with the planning, organisation and running of the College's Open House events as required
  • Take ownership of the College's social media channels and use these to deliver key messages about our pioneering College and its educational approach
  • Take photographs and videos to promote College life and as required by other Admissions and Marketing activities
  • Monitor marketing activities and their outcomes
  • Engage with the wider life of the College to ensure deep understanding of the College culture and calendar, including educational activities, super curriculum activities and boarding life
  • Conduct market research to gather insights into competition, brand awareness and demand
  • Write and edit news stories for the College's communications
  • Create and manage content for the College's digital noticeboards
  • Support with admissions administration, including the invigilation of admissions assessments and admissions events
  • Respond to admissions enquiries as required by the admissions manager, in a prompt and professional manner
  • Conduct tours of the College for visiting families and agents
  • Liaise with external providers such as caterers and events managers
  • Be available to attend College events as required
  • Assist with any reasonable request in connection with the daytoday running of the College

Skills and Experience

  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Proven ability to produce high quality and accurate communications and marketing materials
  • Experience of building audiences and engagement via social media
  • Excellent digital literacy and computing skills
  • Graphic design skills and experience using production software such as Publisher, Canva or similar is desirable
  • Understanding of the admissions process in a competitive international environment
  • Experience working with international families and agencies is desirable

Working Hours
This is a full-time, permanent role.

Normal working hours are 8am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday and 9am-12 midday on Saturdays during term time.

The salary for this position will be dependent on experience.
