As a Support Worker, you will be working with a range of established residential homes, supporting young adults or children.

You will be working alongside an established team supporting people with learning disabilities and/or mental health within the home.

This is a casual hour's contract, meaning you can pick from a variety of shifts these being long days, waking nights and sleeps.


As a Residential Support Worker, you will be making a vital difference, providing consistency with the home, you will be able to form a key bond and see how you can bring a change to the individuals.


The role includes:


  • Maintaining a safe, clean and positive living environment for the children you support.
  • Organising and accompanying the young person/s on social activities and appointments.
  • Providing personal, domestic and emotional support.
  • Recording the activity & reporting key aspects of their care.
  • Promoting independence and developing their life skills.

Requirements of the role

  • Full UK driving licence, this is not essential but an advantage.
  • 3+ Months of experience supporting people with disabilities is essential.
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service.

  • Once the temp hours are completed a direct transition into a fulltime, permanent position with opportunities to complete the NVQ Level 3.
