**Full time, 40 hours - 8:30am

  • 5pm (Mon-Fri)**
    Permanent

£25,000-£26,000 per annum, plus £4200 pro rata payment for key holder duties


We have a fantastic vacancy for a Logistics Operative to provide Logistics support to the Secure Logistics Contract, undertaking all aspects of warehousing including goods in/goods out, stock movement, stock control, quality assurance, asset management and database control.

The role also requires the post holder to undertake driving duties in a light commercial vehicle to collect and deliver client assets, as well as providing off site logístical support to colleagues and clients as directed.

The post holder is responsible for assisting with the day to operations at our combined warehouse and office building as part of a small team of administrative and logistics personnel:

  • Working closely with the Logistics Supervisor to ensure the requirements of the client and all SLA's are met
  • Assisting in the daily running of the warehouse
  • Undertake delivery and collections using light commercial vehicles
  • Building keyholder (and ability to respond to alarm activations out of hours as part of an on call roster)
  • Any other reasonable duties as required to deliver secure logistics services

What you need to do the job:
The post holder must have a current driving licence. A counterbalance forklift truck licence would be an advantage but is not essential as training will be provided.


The post holder will be working on a Home Office contract and will be required to undergo and attain enhanced SC security vetting, a process which is exempt from the rehabilitation of offenders' act.

Working in this environment requires a high degree of confidentiality and discretion.
