Description
A leading multi model logistics business is looking for a Transport Supervisor to join their Southampton site.

As Transport Supervisor you will be assisting with the running of the Transport team including permanent drivers, self employed drivers and planningstaff.

The role will be focused on Container based haulage so experience with this area of transport along with using TOPS or a similar software would be ideal.

As Transport Supervisor you will be responsible for the efficient and safe running of the transport function and still be hands on with planning and routing.

You will be required to monitor all driver activity ensuring that KPIs are met and ensuring all customerenquiries are handled.

The role will be based in their Southampton depot and the working hours will be Monday
  • Friday on a day shift.
The working hours are 45 hours a week usually 9-10 shifts with start times between 7am-9am. Additionally there is a requirement of 1 in 4 Saturday(usually a 6 hour shift).

Some flexibility will be required due to the nature of the role in logistics and start and finish times may adjust slightly.

On offer is a salary of £35,000 per annum and the opportunity to join a leading logistics business.
